The conversation happens between two named female characters, Eleanor Zissou and Jane Winslett-Richardson. Despite being two of the more interesting characters in the film, they only talk about men.

The two female characters do have a brief exchange about the baby before they turn the conversation back to Steve and Ned.
It goes as follows:
Eleanor: Is the father out of the question?
Jane: Mm-hmm. Actually I was sort of terrified about having this baby. Right now I'm not really scared of anything. Maybe it's my hormones.
Eleanor: That makes sense.
And then the conversation goes back to being about men.
So the conversation starts with Eleanor asking about the father but then Jane talks about her fear of having baby so it is no longer about the father but about her. So I do believe it sort of counts but it is the only conversation they have throughout the movie and it is still mostly about men. So it is a very dubious pass but I do believe it is a pass.

I agree with the other comment. Even if it's brief.
