There are two named women who have more than a line or two of dialogue: love interest Margie and Catholic school teacher Sister Assumpta; both are also represented in the comic book story-within-a story as Sorcerella and Peg Leg, respectively. However, neither speak to one another. Francis and Tim's mothers also appear, but only go by their married surnames: Mrs. Doyle and Mrs. Sullivan. Of the two, Mrs. Doyle is the only one with dialogue - she talks to Francis about his girlfriend.
Just for comparison, the film easily passes the reverse Bechdel, despite the fact that the boys spend quite a bit of time talking about women (Margie and the Sister).
