There are several named women in this film, but the closest they come is when Sveta meets Auntie Valya and Maxim. I don't count this because the women never really talk to each other. Sveta asks maxim, her guy neighbor, who is holding a puppy, "what kind of dog is that?" and auntie valya replies in his stead, "it's a dog maxim brought home from work, but i don't know what to do with it." Maxim implores valya to let it live, and then valya echoes him, but valya does not respond verbally. the only words they say to each other are goodbye and goodnight, but even their parting words include Maxim.
