The film focuses on Kaitlin who has an addiction to gambling. There are several other female characters she talks to: Her mother Valerie, her friend Cheryl, Janice and Maureen. They occasionally talk about men. However, the focus of the film and many of their conversations are gambling, money, Kaitlin and Cheryl's planned trip to Europe, and Kaitlin's changed behavior and personality.
