Sam disagreed with the rating and said:
Angela, Carly and Bianca have a conversation about cheer camp at the bonfire scene. Bianca and Angela have a short conversation when Angela wakes up and Bianca's in her bed. Also, towards the end of the movie Angela, Bianca and Carly have a conversation after the Panther's performance.

This film portrays both men and women as having a healthy sexual appetite; and yet they mostly talk to each other about their aspirations and goals surrounding winning a cheerleading tournament. While not the most gender defying goal to aim for, it paints both genders as goal oriented and while the Male leads use manipulative behavior to "land the girls" we as the audience also see how Nick and Shawn are captivated and manipulated by so called feminine wiles. In short, neither gender is victimized and the film more than passes Bechdel standards.
