It passes, but barely. At the end of the film, when Karen and Loreen meet on a ship leaving Hawaii, they discuss a legend about throwing your leis in the sea as you leave: "If they float to shore, you'll return to Hawaii. If they float out to sea, you'll never return."

The last scene in the movie, mentioned by the original poster, fails the test. Karen and Alma talk about Alma's dead fiancee, how he died, and why he was named Robert.
