There are several named female characters in the sequel to Mortal Kombat: Kitana, Sonya Blade, Sindel, and Jade. Though Mileena is not named on screen (like many of the game's characters who appear in the film), she is named in the credits and would be known to players of the game.
Kitana and Sindel speak to one another about their relationship as mother and daughter when Sindel is under mind control. Kitana expresses astonishment that her mother is alive and Sindel tells her she will soon be dead.
They later fight one another, and Sindel taunts her about this being any way to treat her mother, to which Kitana responds that her mother is dead.
When Sindel is freed and restored, they embrace and speak one another's names.
This is a film that would also pass a time requirement for conversations as well.
Secondarily, Sonya fights Mileena, initially thinking she's Kitana. She asks, "Kitana?" and Mileena responds, "You wish." The character is named (for the reasons above), even if her name is mentioned during the actual film.

Kitana also drags Sonya out of a scene with "let's get out of here" (which is arguably to do with the Emperor, but also the destruction of Earth and an army, and..)
