This rating is given because the main woman in the movie speak with each other often about a range of topics: (1)Mrs. Carrigan (Max's Mother) and Lucy Carrigan (Max's Sister) talk about Lucy's moving away to New York. (2)Prudence and Lucy talk about Sadie being Jude and Max's land lady. (3) Prudence, Sadie, Lucy, and unnamed woman are involved in a group conversation about Max's draft selection. (4) Sadie and Lucy try to get Prudence out of the closet [literally and figuratively!] (5) Prudence talks to Sadie about dating a female contortionist. (6) Mrs. Carrigan speaks with Lucy over the phone about protests not being peaceful.

Agreed on all accounts! Popping in just to say that they DON'T TALK, but SING. LOL! with a soundtrack from The Beatles' songs.
Such a wonderful film!

I personally love the amount of women in this film. Beatles songs are much less perverted coming from lesbians. We Love Prudence. We also love lesbians. LGBTQIA+. If you are LGBTQIA+, you are loved, you are seen, you are cute. xoxo Really A Woman
