This movie barely passes the test, but I still think it does due to the conversation Emily (Rooney Mara) has with Kayla (Mamie Gummer) about anti-depressants at the boat party. Emily also discusses things that aren't exactly Martin, although tangentially related to him, with both her boss and Martin's mother, although both women are listed as unnamed on IMDB, and I don't remember if names were used in the movie.

She also talks to her boss about pills and their side effects after her boss finds her throwing up in the bathroom.

It's been a while since I've seen this movie, but I'm pretty sure Jones and Mara talk about Mara's depression and their conspiracy.

Good grief, KaKirsten, it passes numerous times, not only on the boat and with the boss, but rather spectacularly with Zeta-Jones at the end. Women probably get more screen time AND speech than the men in the movie. Fault its gender implications if you like, but if this doesn't pass, what the heck *does*?!

I'd also mention when her friend recommends some pills to her to fight depression. Also, there are many implied conversations: about William Styron's novel, about the plans to con insurance money.
