This is the easiest pass I've seen in quite some time. The protagonists are two sisters who are living together temporarily while the older sister, Tricia, navigates a pregnancy, a move, and filing for a death certificate in absentia for her missing husband. The two talk about all manner of things, including but not limited to men: apartment hunting, Callie's drug use, their family, traveling, Tricia's pregnancy, etc.
