Nurse #1 speaks with Anne while giving her a shower.

But since she isn't a named character:

Anne's daughter Eva speaks to her mother in at least two scenes, but Anne is suffering from a stroke, so it's not much of conversations. One is very short (and might have included the father), while the other begins with Eva telling Anne about her husbands stock purchases and Anne responds with "gibberish" and Eva tries to interpret what her mother is saying.

GREAT movie though.
Ps.
Sorry if I missed some "passing" scene, watched it in a theatre, so I couldn't verify anything afterwards. Ds.

There are only really two characters in this film, and the female character is strong and independent. If there HAD been other characters, she'd have talked to them. ;-)

Too bad. I hear this was a great film, but I'm halfway through my year of not watching any film that doesn't clearly pass e Bechdel test. I might watch it next year, but I have a feeling I'll renew my resolution for 2014

Jeanette King disagreed with the rating and said:
This film clearly passes. As Hilding says there is a scene where daughter Eva talks with her mother Anne who's had a stroke. While what Eva says is gibberish it's obvious that both she and her daughter are trying to communicate with each other. Hence I think it meets the definition of a conversation. Neither of them are talking about a man. Eva is talking about purchasing a house and Anne mentions her grandmother and a house.
