The movie only has two named characters at all: One female (Mikako Nagamine) and one male (Noboru Terao). An on-board computerized voice is also named (Operator of the "Lysithea") is female in tone but largely without gender and interacts little with Mikako.
Mikako and a doppelganger of her (possibly in a hallucination or dream) do interact and discuss Mikako's return to Noboru. However, claiming the otherwise unnamed & shape-shifting doppelganger as a female character is somewhat dubious, though an argument could be made for it passing 2/3 through this dialogue.
