The Tooth Fairy talks to Sophia (the little girl who wanders into the portal), but Sophia just screams in terror so this can't be counted as conversation.

Tooth does talk to Sophie, saying, "I bet she's a fairy fan," to which Sophie says, "Pretty!"

Does it count if (a) one is incomprehensible and (b) there are guys present? If so, then at the Tooth Palace (around the 30-minute mark), Baby Tooth says something to Tooth, who then says to her that she's glad that one of them (the fairies) is alright, making this pass all three.

I don't think any of the given examples count - not as "conversations" worthy of the name. I agree with the rating.

I agree with the rating. None of the conversations between the fairies can be considered a conversation.

I love this movie, but according to the books, the little fairies are extensions of Tooth, so I'm not sure if it counts as conversation with another female.

I recently rewatched this movie. Although it's not misogynistic and they tried to show female children with "traits that break stereoptypes" (Cupcake), I noticed how superficial and vague and few the female characters (Toothfairy,Jamie's sister) were so I went to check if it would pass the Bechdel test, and, alas! It did not pass it! I can't believe it ahahah
