Kat disagreed with the rating and said:
Although this movie TECHNICALLY passes the Bechdel Test, the entire premise of the movie (and series) is completely anti-feminist. The series teaches that a woman NEEDS a man, and Edward portrays characteristics of an abusive/possessive husband, especially in the beginning.

Foggen disagreed with the rating and said:
Not dubious. There is a lot of conversation among all the vampire women about their powers and about Bella's daughter.

I don't disagree with Kat - the series is very much centered around anti-feminist concepts of 'a woman's place' - and while I do think that conversations like these should also be as bread-and-butter as how we see the Bechdel Test, one must still appreciate that by the test's own criteria, it passes.
