There are two very brief scenes that pass: Martha talks to her granddaughter Julie (Julie wants to know what death was like; Martha just kind of rambles absentmindedly) and Rachel runs into her coworker's wife Veronique at the park. Though the two talk mostly about Veronique's son, Veronique invites Rachel to dinner.
Even though this is a weak pass, there are a surprising number of women in the film: women are mothers and wives, but also scientists and government officials. They also get quite a few lines, though most of the exchanges involve women talking to men (and vice versa), or women addressing groups of people, such as at lectures.
