Wait, can you confirm that they also talk to one another about something OTHER than the main character? The test doesn't ask about whether their discussions are "relevant to the plot, if they are about a man". It also doesn't ask about whether men do the same thing. Even a movie where there are no characters or no dialogue would fail the Bechdel Test, even if it's an equal-opportunity fail.
The film asks if the two women talk about something other than a man, and requires that this happen in order to pass the test.

Almost all of the females are portrayed as strong and capable, although there is the issue of also portraying any beautiful female as cunning and deceitful.
