This one could almost be rated on its title alone ;-)
It has one man though, but he doesn't have any lines. And if I'm not mistaken he's only shown from the back once or twice. But still, he's a fairly important character in the plot I think :-)
Still, this movie indeed passes with flying colors.

Think more carefully about this one.
The majority of the dialogue revolves around their relationship with the dead man, and possible romantic/sexual affairs with the dead man.
That said, I can think of one conversation about the maid playing cards with another woman after she finishes work each day.
However, it should not be "rated on it's title alone", and "a number of the issues discussed" are about men.
Indeed, the ENTIRE film is about a group of women trying to determine who killed a man.
ALL the conversations are designed to determine who was with the man when he died. This includes conversations about the maid playing cards, etc.

The commenter "ot" is right. The plot of the film is entirely tied up in women being catty and backstabbing each other all for the attention of one man. If there's a conversation that doesn't involve the man, it doesn't last long.

The commenter "Gabrielle" is wrong. While the movie centres around murder of Marcel, the husband and investigation of said murder, the main theme of the movie are the women , relationship between them, their desires, prejudice and pretense. And destroying the fake image of big happy family.
And yes during the investigation the women talk about their relationship with Marcel and motives for his murder and they suspect and distrust each other, they donť do for the attention of man thought, because he's already dead. (Or so they think )
They mainly discuss what they really feel to each other and other other things like school, books , gifts, alcohol, legs, non-functioning car, disconnected phone, playing cards, stocks, pregnancy, being trapped in the house, heart disease, maid's responsibilities, medicine, homosexuality, raising children, incest, poisoning, guns, wanting to look pretty and autority

Although what begins the story is the murder of that one man, he's not central to the plot. What matters is how those women in the 1950s live their love and life, how some are liberated while others try to conform to society. The death of Marcel breaks their chains: they reveal their true sexuality, feelings, pasts...it's what would happen if the "male lead" died.

If you watch the movie, with this test in mind, you can actually see that the whole story revolves around the only man in the house and the fact that all the women took advantage of him, except for one.
