There are more than two named women in the film (Tracy, Ashley and Stephanie), with the exception of Stephanie (who doesn't talk), they talk to each other. However, most of their conversations seem to be about Ellison. Ashley asks Tracy (her mom) if she can bring Ellison his coffee. Ashley gets in trouble for drawing on the hallway walls, and while for a moment Tracy is just yelling at her, Ellison is pulled into the conversation. Plus, a mother reprimanding her daughter is not taking to each other.
