This movie is a clear pass. There are several named female characters--Jenn, her sister Kelly, Jenn's boss Linda, her pregnancy therapist Ushma and her terrible coworker Valerie.
Jenn speaks with each of these characters about something other than a man. She and Kelly talk about Kelly's adoption process for her daughter, Sadie, and her inability to have children. They also talk about Jenn's commitment to having a child and raising it, even if it means doing it alone.
Jenn talks to Ushma about anything she can take to make her fertility process easier, or to help her terrible mood later in the film.
Jenn also talks to Linda about buying into the studio and developing her career as an owner and instructor, and how the two of them can forge a better friendship with one another.
Jenn also speaks with Valerie, who antagonizes her and gives her condescending tasks to do around the office.
Also, as a point of interest, the film passes the adapted test for people of color. Both Matt and Jenn have dates, Daniel and Adam. While Matt and Jenn are getting ready, Daniel and Adam chat, with Daniel asking Adam if he needs to go to the bathroom. Adam jokes and says he already went in the hallway.
