Only one woman in this film has a speaking part. She is a prostitute who is humiliated, by both her client and the film's hero, for no good reason. The only other woman in the whole story is seen in the distance through a car's windscreen. There needs to be a lower level of failure.

Hard to imagine a more spectacular fail. One unnamed prostitute is the only female part. Women are disparaged throughout. Absolutely vile.

Excuse me but I'm a woman and I don't see the problem with this. Since when do women have to be everywhere all the time? This is a movie about 2 crooks, a hitman, another hitman, a guy who asks them for a favour and a couple of mobsters. They happen to be all guys. Mobsters tend to use prostitutes, so they needed a woman to play a prostitute.

Jesus Christ, people, calm down. It's just a story.

To DD, so I guess you're saying that women can't be crooks, hitmen, or mobsters, and that only women can be prostitutes? I think you're missing a big point here... It's not that women have to be in every movie, but that people like you don't even consider them for traditionally "male" roles.

It fails, but it's not the vile movie you claim it is. It's a movie about vile people in a brutal, male-dominated world. If you thought the film was celebrating that, then you weren't paying attention.

Thank you Michelle and DD. The movie fails the test, yes. But that is done intentionally to demonstrate who these characters are. It's demonstrating that in their little world this is how they consider women and it's reflecting the mood of the film. The director/writers didn't make this decision because they hate women. LOL
