Bechdel Test Movie List

The entire movie is about John Tucker - nearly every conversation relates back to him. If not, they relate to Kate's mother's boyfriends.

The four main female characters discuss Carrie's lists and Heather's estrogen pills in Kate's kitchen for over a minute before, yes, referring back to their plan to ruin John Tucker's reputation. Still passes the 3 qualifiers.

Kate and her mother have a "be true to yourself" talk near the end.

The whole movie is covered in lip gloss, but it does pass all 3 tests.

There is an entire scene where they actually discuss things other than John. They start off talking about him, but get so off topic that one of them says, we have to get back to John.

One girl comments Kate's mom is hot, and Kate says she does Yogalates. That's segues into discussing Carrie's lists, which segues into discussing Heather's estrogen pills. Doesn't matter that it eventually leads back to John - all those interactions count.

As someone else said, Kate and her mom also discuss the person Kate has become. I don't remember exactly but the mom says something like you wouldn't like you right now, Kate says a year ago nobody liked her, and her mom responds by saying that she liked Kate. Another clear pass.
