Death Trap! was a video nasty directed by Tobe Hooper. It is about a misogynist motel owner who kills an ex-prostitute and then feeds her to his pet alligator. He then proceeds to have to feed lots more people to that alligator to keep previous murders secret. It's kind of like a bloodthirsty farce.

Anyway, the very first scene involves a vital character called "Clara" speaking with the Madam ("Miss Hattie") of the whorehouse who is pretty well fleshed out when she is seen later. "Clara" also has a conversation that is not even remotely linked to men with a maid called "Ruby" before leaving the whorehouse.

I was surprised that this, of all films, would pass. Just goes to show that the Bechdel Test is not enough to demonstrate that a movie is positive towards women. Though the villain is a misogynist, the film also contains exploitative gratuitous nudity and some very nasty violence against women. But it does have several named female characters and some talk to each other in a few points.
