Friendship and love that develope between two oil-and-water characters creates many many scenes of the two ladies talking to each other (and not about a man/men). They talk business, about life, argue, etc etc

Basically the entire movie is a comedy about a close friendship between two straight women. The two main characters, played by Ari Graynor and Lauren Miller, talk about setting up their phone sex line business, parents, their jobs (as a nail artist and an aspiring editor), and many other things. As a lesbian, I don't think there is much in this movie here for me (the ending was a cop-out, and if you're a lesbian it will leave you feeling cheated at how they keep pretending there might be a lesbian relationship between the women) , although I enjoyed the female friendship.

I recently saw this movie but had heard of it before. I love it because it talks about virginity. For me it was out of left field and the way the characters dealt with this was beautifully done. I loved this film because these women are discussing something so personal and assumed in many movies.
