Terry and Grandmother Janou do talk, but the only important discussion is about the man in the movie.

I think Terry and Janou talk enough about things that aren't men to make this a pass on all three. Terry talks about how she was one of 10 children and thus was accustomed to doing some work around the house after Janou has said she's glad Terry was willing to carry the tea tray. Janou says she had outlived two housekeepers and didn't feel like getting another one, and that she hadn't planned on living past 80. She joked that at 82 she needed to start saving her money.
