One of the main characters is a woman, and she talks to two other women about various things (albeit in short conversations)

There actual important female characters that discuss plot-relevant things. Hell, one of them IS the plot!

The movie is much better than the book, which was just ‘meh’.
And yet they made some bizarre flip side changes to the plot.
Like for example, Theo’s son in the book was his daughter, and the newborn baby girl was actually a boy.
Well, hopefully no unreasonable people will consider this film sexist just because it’s about childbirth and a man basically saving women...or the fact that in the book men were the ones infertile instead of the women.
I apologize, if that last sentence sounded like trolling.
Just wanted to give food for thought I guess...
Actually, I never quite grasped, if P. D. James wrote her book in a feministic, or an anti-feministic tone...

I was kind of bummed at how little kee was actually fleshed out. Plus I really hated the scene where she's in the barn, surrounded by mooing cows, naked pregnant belly and whimpers "I'm scared." Felt objectifying and stereotyped to me....while the movie may technically meet the bechdel test (I don't remember the conversations she had with women) it generally feels pretty male-worldview to me.
