There a lot of women characters in this and they talk to each other a lot. Even though most of their talks are about men they do talk about other things (like their joy to be together, or the hotel that one of them runs).

Does this one pass the counter-test? Are there at least two named men who talk to each other about something besides a woman?

Wonderful joyous movie - a lot revolves around men, but they talk about their careers, singing, relationships to each other and daughter. Wonderful scene where all the women in the village abandon their burdens and their men and join in a dance together where they release their wild hearts -- very Greek!

Avarice: most of the male characters' conversations are about the two women protagonists, but there's at least one dialogue (between Bill and Harry, on a boat) where one of them THINKS they are talking about men (in the context of a coming-out) ... also a brief exchange about a missed ferry. Does either of these meet the counter-test criteria?

It passes the reverse Bechdel test when two of the named men talk about adventuring
