Though the film centers around a strong & in-control female lead, Bridget speaks only an unnamed receptionist briefly & then only in regard to a man. There is also a named transgender female character Trish. Though she factors heavily into the plot, she is a very minor character. Her total screen time & interaction with Bridget is less than 15 seconds, consisting only of a greeting. It is also implied that their offscreen conversation revolves around a man.
