Della runs into a college friend (Lynn?) and the two make small talk. Della is shown talking on her cell twice; once to let an office assistant know that she won't be at the next auto mechanics class, and again with a friend to discuss that night's plans and the required equipment for a pilates class; both women are named. Della's daughter Tammi gives her a drawing.
