Changeling features a number of female characters and passes the Bechdel test with flying colors. While the topic of many conversations are the women's missing sons, several scenes involve women conversing with one another about something other than men. For example, Christine Collins works in a supervisory role at a call center staffed by women; she's shown at work at least four times, conversing with the other female employees about work matters. When Christine is unjustly institutionalized, she's shown the ropes by another patient/inmate, who points out other women who were committed to the psych ward as punishment for being too independent, difficult, sexual, etc.
