Kid disagreed with the rating and said:
There's a scene in which two named female co-workers are shown doing something that involves immediate cooperation with each other:

1. Lauren Bratberg (Susan Blackwell), the personnel manager, and her assistant Heather Burke (Ashley Williams)...
2. …together tell a male character…
3. …that he is being let go from his job, and what this will involve.

While the two women don't exchange any dialogue with each other, they're shown working as a unit, with Bratberg being very blunt in her approach to firing the man, and Burke jumping in a couple of times to explain or soften things she says.

This movie may not pass the Bechdel test to the letter, but by showing two women with a professional relationship working together, it strikes me as passing it in spirit.

It does fail in letter and spirit. Interacting with the same person at the same time is not the same as talking to one another, and in any case their conversation centers around the man in the room. That said, it does depict an industry that is rather dominated by white guys. So one could argue that they were just being accurate in casting mostly men.
