There are a couple strong, central female characters in this film who are not sexually objectified. It's a teen horror movie that doesn't revolve around teen sex. It's rare to see two heroines (the main character teams up with the heroine from the first film) actually cooperating with one another rather than being pitted against one another as "battling divas".
