There are a handful of women identified in this documentary, but there are no scenes where two women talk to each other (and there are scenes where men talk to each other, and scenes where women talk to men or to an assembled crowd). Interestingly, one segment where women seem to be heavily featured is when they talk about lay-off at the NYT.

I think that it's still useful as an indicator of female presence. I don't think that women should be added in in a fake way, but there are documentaries that would pass. It's another way of seeing how women are represented on film by filmmakers.

We might need some "documentary" Bechdel version. There's very little male dialog in this movie except for scenes with the reporter talking with his editor. Most of it is interviews
