Fleur talks to her sister. I'm pretty sure Padma and Parvati (the Indian twins) speak to each other. And are there NO scenes of female students speaking to other female students or female instructors at all? (Been a while since I've seen this movie).

I'm pretty sure the person who rated this movie hasn't seen the film. There are many conversations amongst the women.

I'm pretty sure the rating stands, actually. A lot of the female characters share scenes, but I don't believe they ever have an actual conversation. Fleur and Maxime just share a few looks, Fleur talks in French to Gabrielle but Gabrielle doesn't respond. I don't think McGonagall talks to any females either. The closest I can think of is Parvati and Padma Patil have a couple whispered conversations, but they're completely inaudible and (presumably) about Harry, anyway.

Hermione and Ginny speak together all throughout the film. You can see them chatting as the group at the beginning of the film goes to the Quidditch World Cup.

Gabrielle is hardly a named character. And doesn't matter how many times women chat in the background if the screenwriters don't have the nerve to write the actual conversation.

Madam Maxine and Fleur (both named in this film) share a couple brief conversations.

Paravati and Padma Patil (both named in this film) talk to each other a couple times .

Fleur and her sister Gabrielle (who isn't named in this movie but is named in the books so this might not count) talk to each other when Gabrielle is pulled out of the water and Fleur asks if she is okay.

It barely passes and it is dubious, but it's still a pass.

This is a general question. Do conversations count if the audience doesn't hear them? I don't think they do, for example seeing Hermione and Ginny talk doesn't count if we (the audience members) don't hear their conversation.

After a review of that film :

- Hermione and Ginny are often together but they never really talk to each other. Just one scene : when Ron just back in the commun room after try to ask Fleur to come with him to the bal, Harry ask "what's happens ?", Ginny explains the situation and Hermione answer "Whaat ?!" to her. I don't think that counts, and it's about Ron anyway.

- Padma and Parvati are never seen talking together.

- When Harry and Ron are looking for girls for the bal, we can't hear anything and they shut up when boys come.

- Rita talks to Fleur before the interview of Harry but she doesn't answer.

- Fleur and Cho say Hi yo each other at the Chrismas's bal.

- Gabrielle is named. Hard to ear, in the background at the lake : "Viens Gabrielle" (i'm French i don't know if this got subtiles in the VO)

- Fleur talks to Gabrielle but she don't answer.

So the conditions are not clearly completes, but they are many situations where the question is open so maybe it deserves to pass the test ?
