Towards the end, Yashodamai says to Elizabeth: "May you be happy my daughter. May you live long." Elizabeth looks at her, but does not reply.
The film could thus be interpreted as fulfilling the Bechdel test (at least once), but if so, really just barely... It all depends on the definition of "talking to each other."
