Bechdel Test Movie List

There's a couple of exchanges between Sheila Broflovski and Liane Cartman which are about something besides a man. But, though I think it's a pass, I'm not sure if Liane Cartman is named during the film.

Sheila Broflovski is prominant but, all in all, there aren't very many female characters and they don't have much of the dialogue.

We can probably give a pass here if Liane Cartman is not explicitly named in the film since she is a frequently recurring character on the television show. Most people seeing the movie automatically know who she is, so properly introducing each character would have been a waste of time.

Sharon Marsh is a named character; she has this exchange with Shiela:

Sharon: Oh my God, this is terrible!
Sheila: This is what we wanted! We wanted our children to be brought up in a smut-free environment!
Sharon: But we didn't want this!
Sheila: Where are you going?
Sharon: We're going to find our boys. For God's sake, Sheila, we're going to get them killed!

I think that counts as a full pass.

Though Jon that conversation violates the 3rd rule as it is about their sons. Not sure about the Sheila and Liane conversations, while since I watched this movie.

Sharon: Oh, dear God.
Sheila: What the heck is a rimjob?
Liane: Why, that’s when you put your head between your legs and have someone lick your ass.

Since all three characters are listed under their full names in the closing credits, I’m pretty sure that this film gets a pass.
