Although most of the conversations Peggy has with her colleage Layla revolve around Layla's financee and most of her discussions with her sister in law Bret revolve around domestic affairs thsi is at Layla and Bret's insistence. When Peggy starts to get interested in animal rights she tries to move the conversation with them towards aninal rights. She also had sveral conversatiosn with her young niece about animal rights and also discusses animal rights with the woman who runs the animal sancutuary
