While walking from the garage to the house Mrs. Chasen asks Harold's second blind date, Edith, her occupation. Edith explains that she is a file clerk at a chicken feed company.

This is one of the many examples of the limitations of the test. Mrs. Chasen does speak individually to Edith and, earlier, Candy, but only in an attempt to get to know them better as potential wives for her son Harold. Mrs. Chasen also has a few conversations on the phone with a receptionist at the hair salon about changing her appointment. The thing is, although the conversations are not directly about a man, they are only taking place because of the women's relationships to a particular man, and revolve around the man, even if they not explicitly about a man.
