Bechdel Test Movie List

I'm surprised I didn't find that movie on the list. Anyway, just rewatched it and to my surprise it fits. Vivian and Kit talking in the end about going back to highschool, getting away from the street. No mention of a guy in the whole scene.

A god example of the limitations of the Bechdel test- sure the prostitutes have a non-man-related conversation.

BUT - the movie is about how being the property of a rich man can be materially rewarding and fun. Great day for feminism.

I rewatched recently. And I was very happy to find out that there are several conversations that do not orbitate about the male figure. I was most surprised by the double end. I would have loved if the movie had ended with the conversation between the two main women on the movie. And I said this because I think that way the story is closed (the love one, and the one about surviving as a prostitute), I really don't care if the guy never overcomes his emotional stiffness... I couldn't connect with the character.
