Although many of the conversations in the movie are about men, particularly the two love interests of the protagonist, the Protag and her Grandmother have a conversation about the Protag's mother. The Protag also has a conversation about the wolf/its ability to speak to her with her best friend.

That's fine except that the wolf in question is a male werewolf - so conversations about it *are* conversations about a man! However, the example of the conversation about the protagonist's mother means the film still passes.

I agree with the rating, though I had a serious problem with how weak the women were portrayed all the time. It was quite oversexualized (that dance scene?) and the men were all the big-GI Joe-type tough guys in leadership roles.
