Sgt. Brown and her Salvation Army boss talk about how Brown's mission is going to be shut down if it doesn't show progress. Pass? But the problems here are (a) the mission seems to concentrate on saving *men,* and (b) IIRC they're being overheard by a male character. Yet the Sergeant's job is at stake, and they don't talk about any specific man or men. Technical pass?

I'd say definitely pass; the mission does seem to focus a lot on reaching out to men, but the conversation in question never specifies the gender of the sinners. And I could be wrong, but I don't think being overheard by a male character invalidates the conversation? If anything it's pretty cool that Sarah, the youngest missionary and one of the few women there, was put in charge of what is clearly considered to be a very difficult mission, and that her uncle (the man doing the overhearing) defers to her in this and indeed every situation.
