Bechdel Test Movie List

Later, Jeanie answers the door thinking it is the police only to find the "Sexogram". Jeanie does not talk to her, and slams the door in her face.

Jeanie and her mother talk about several non-man things.

alicia is right - for instance, they have a remonstration in the car after Katie (Jeanie's mother) picks her up from the police station.

Jeanie and Mrs. Bueller speak numerous times, especially on the car ride home at the end about her having to leave work and Jeanie getting arrested, and at the beginning when Nurse Sparrow tells Sloane her grandmother's died.

Although it is few and far between Jeanie and her mother do talk about things other than a male..even other than Ferris!

This definitely does pass the Bechdel test, particularly for the conversation between Jeanie Bueller and her mom (Katie Bueller) as they’re driving home around 1:30.38-50:
K: “Do you know what it’s like to be pulled out of work to pick up your daughter from the police station?”
J: “No, not really”
K: Well, on top of everything else, I was about to close the damn deal with the Vermont people.”
J: “I’m sorry.”
This is a conversation between two named female characters that is not about a man, so this clearly passes the Bechdel test!
