I'd argue that the most interesting and funny conversations of this film happen amongst the female characters. Francine Fishpaw, played by drag queen Divine, talks to her daughter Lulu about her report card and probable abortion. Chuckles discusses with Francine her upcoming debutante ball and the beauty of nature. Several female characters make comments to Francine regarding her drinking problem. "Gee, Francine! You're the most drinkin'est gal I know!"
