When one of Sugar's bandmates, Dolores, peeks in on Sugar and "Daphne" sharing whiskey, Sugar asks her to bring in some vermouth, so they could all drink Manhattans together. Word quickly spreads among other girls in the train - at least three of whom also have names - about a party in berth #7, and some of the girls discuss bringing supplies and snacks before they go check it out.
