This Frank Capra silent features two named women: the hero's love interest, murder suspect Jane Atwill, and the villain's, a floozy named Marie. The hero, a bumbling cub reporter, somehow manages to rescue Marie from the villain and clear Jane's name. The two ladies appear together in one crowded scene near the end where they don't even say hello or acknowledge the other's presence.
