Bechdel Test Movie List

In this Harold Lloyd comedy, as in a number of silent film comedies, the only substantial female role is the hero's girlfriend. This one is named Mildred according to one of the dialogue cards (she's played by Mildred Davis), although in the credits, she is listed as "The Girl." To be fair, Lloyd's character, referred to as Harold in the film, is listed as "The Boy" and other characters are "The Pal," "The Law" and "The Floorwalker." Using a character type instead of a character name was fairly standard in the credits of the silent era.
