A couple of the female characters are actually interesting and devloped, but they never cross paths in the movie. All of their scenes occur separately, with other male characters.

I like the fact that all the male lead characters end up dead (well, I'm sad for the gym manager), whereas the three women all survive and are set free from their problems at the end of the film. It's a pretty effective message about male frailty.
