Early in the movie Laura an Lola meet. Lola says "pleased to meet you" and Laura responds "likewise". Just two sentences. They do speak to each other, but it's just five words, devoid of any real meaning.

The test only specifies that they "talk to each other about something other than a man" (in this case, being pleased to meet each-other) so it passes, if only on a technicality.

Checking the links on the main page, I can't find any clarification on what it means to "talk to each other", so I don't have any reason not to pass it, even if I think it shouldn't count.

The only other scene that comes close to showing two women in conversation is near the end of the movie, when Ned returns to find his wife Lana sitting on the sofa with Lola, apparently have been in conversation just before he arrived (but this isn't shown). Lola does say a few things to Lana before leaving (thinly veiled references to blackmail, to which Ned is oblivious), but Lana doesn't respond to her, so this doesn't count.

Yeah, it's hard when you have these menial one-liners thrown in. I like feminist frequency's rule of thumb: they should generally talk for more than 60 seconds, if the movie also features dialogues between men or between a man and a woman that are longer than 60 seconds. I would give it a 1 out of 3.
