127 Hours barely passes, but for a movie essentially about one man, that's obviously better than most films with a diverse cast have done. The females' dialogue "about something besides a man" is not really plot-relevant, and most of their time is spent conversing with or about the lead male.

(Spoiler alert)
To "reverse": There are some men present in the end when they rescue the lead character. But they are not named so i'd say it passes the reverse test. Plus there are a lot of flashbacks but i can't recall any men speaking in those flashbacks. Because the man in the lead are only thinking about women... He's thinking about having sex with women... And he's about to jerk off to a picture of that hiker girl... This is a wonderful world.

Do the Kate Mara and Amber Tamblyn characters talk about anything other than their interaction with Aron?

The two girls discuss which route to take at first before they ask Aaron for the way. It's not a proper conversation and we don't know their names before they start talking to Aaron, but it's...something!

There's actually an another scene that passes as well. In a flashback, Aron's mother talks to his sister.

I have to say I think the Bechdel test is kind of unnecessary for this film though... The story focuses almost exclusively on one man. There's very little dialogue between other characters in the first place.

It does pass the reverse one of the flashbacks is a conversation with a coworker asking where he's going (and Aron giving a vague response) and telling him to haves fun (Aron saying I always do).

Also the two girls he meets Kristi and Megan in addition to talking about the map have a very brief exchange between the rocks I think it starts out about Aron saying he's crazy but then the other gives one a look and says but you love this stuff, something like that.

On the reverse test- in the flashback with his sister, his father speaks to him about the camera (but mostly about his sister). But I don't think his father is named and the male hikers are unnamed.
