I suppose this works. Glinda does tell Dorothy to click her heels together at the end of the movie, instead of doing so at the beginning.

Dorothy talks with Glinda a little at the beginning and the end, but Dorothy and the witch interact a fair amount - though the witch does most of the talking.

Then there's Miss Gulch, Aunt Em... Lots of examples.

I look everywhere for great movies for my little girl. This one is brilliant. Dorothy is so strong and courageous, yet still a real girl. Absolutely agree with the rating.

We also have Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West talking; Dorothy and the Wicked Witch; Dorothy and Aunt Em; Miss Gulch and Aunt Em.

Five named female characters who all have at least one exchange (most of them more) that is not about a man.

This passes with flying colours (and monkies!)

Dorothy talks to Aunt Em about Miss Gulch; Aunt Em tells Dorothy this isn't a good time because the incubator is broken. Even though Uncle Henry is standing right there, helping her count.

Also, while Uncle Henry is technically there, most of the conversation about Toto is between Dorothy, Aunt Em, and Ms. Gulch.
