Tae-ju and her mother-in-law have several scenes together, but none of their exchanges are really conversations. The closest is when Tae-ju tells her mother-in-law she is volunteering at the hospital and when her mother-in-law berates her for sleepwalking, but in that case a man is present. These could be considered passes, but it is dubious.

Why wouldn't those be considered conversations?

I don't think that a man's presence means that the conversation doesn't count. Especially as the conversation was entirely unrelated to him.

Juanfraner disagreed with the rating and said:
There's never a conversation between the three named female characters. Every single time one speaks to another, the second never talks back to the first. IMO, they shouldn't be considered conversations, but monologues with public.
